Become a Data Scientist & AI Specialist
The Master in Big Data Analytics & Artificial Intelligence for Society (University of Pisa) is a one-year postgraduate program designed for graduates from all disciplines, combining theory, hands-on labs, projects, and an internship with partner organizations.
The program is designed to support heterogeneous backgrounds and includes an alignment course on core skills (e.g., databases, exploratory analysis, Python).

How it works
Teaching model
- Online program delivered via MS Teams
- Weekly schedule: Wed–Fri 16:00–20:00, Sat 09:00–13:00
- Labs (optional) to practice with tutor support
- Attendance requirement: ≥ 70% of lecture hours
Two-phase structure
- Phase 1 (Nov–Jul): lectures + project activities
- Phase 2 (Aug–Dec): 425 hours internship with partners
- Learning supported by Moodle for materials
