- Data scientist perspective (Valerio Grossi). The speaker provided a panotic view of the SoBigData Research Infrastructure (RI);
- Company perspective (Maria Vittoria Brandi). The speaker has shared the positive Challenge Us experience about the collaboration between SoBigData RI and Socotec Italia. This testimonial has shown the opportunities that SoBigData can be explained by companies;
- University perspective (Anna Monreale). The speaker explained the training opportunities that are offered throrugh Master BigData Analytics & Artificial Intelligence for Society and the National Ph.D. program in Artificial Intelligence for Society at the University of Pisa.
Here below the bio of the three speakers.
Valerio Grossi: With a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Pisa, Valerio Grossi brings extensive expertise in analyzing massive and complex data. His research interests include data stream mining, ontology-driven mining, business intelligence, and knowledge discovery systems. Grossi is actively involved in managing the SoBigData Research Infrastructure.
Maria Vittoria Brandi: As a biologist at SOCOTEC Italia, Maria Vittoria Brandi specializes in utilizing data analysis software to examine environmental data. Her work involves establishing correlations between diverse data sets, contributing to SOCOTEC Italia's objectives.
Anna Monreale: Anna Monreale, an Associate Professor of Computer Science at the University of Pisa, brings her expertise in Big Data analytics and social mining. She has played a key role in directing the Master's program in Big Data Analytics & Social Mining and currently serves as the vice-coordinator of the National Ph.D. program in Artificial Intelligence for Society at the University of Pisa.
The webinar has attracted approximately 200 participants, with active engagement from around 85 attendees who posed questions and contributed to the live Q&A discussion.
